1 Cancellations by Guests
1.1 More Than 48 Hours Before the Tour
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled tour departure time are eligible for a 50% refund of the total booking amount, minus a 5% payment processing fee.
1.2 Within 48 Hours of the Tour
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled tour departure time, for any reason, are not eligible for a refund.
1.3 No-Shows
Failure to arrive at the meeting point on time, or failure to attend the tour for any personal reason, is classified as a no-show. No-shows are strictly non-refundable and non-reschedulable.
1.4 Rescheduling
Rescheduling is not guaranteed. In the event a guest faces an unforeseen issue, the company reserves the sole right to decide whether a rescheduling option may be offered. Any rescheduling is subject to:
- Tour availability on the requested alternative date
- Additional fees that may apply
- Management approval at our sole discretion
There is no automatic right to reschedule. Please plan accordingly and cancel within the 48-hour window if you are uncertain about your plans.
2 Cancellations Due to Weather
If Daymaniyat Islands Tours cancels a tour due to adverse weather or sea conditions that affect the safe operation of the tour, you will receive a full refund with no deductions or fees.
Important details about weather cancellations:
- The decision to cancel due to weather is made by the captain and tour operator and is final.
- Weather conditions are assessed on the morning of the tour. You will be notified as early as possible via WhatsApp.
- Where possible, we will offer an alternative date before processing a refund. You are free to accept the alternative date or request a full refund.
- If conditions deteriorate after departure and the tour is shortened or the itinerary is altered for safety, this does not qualify for a refund as the tour has already commenced.

4 How to Cancel a Booking
To cancel a booking, please contact us through one of the following channels:
Contact Us
Send a cancellation request via WhatsApp (+968 7646 4192) or email (huzefa@lavenderblush-hedgehog-287360.hostingersite.com). Include your booking reference, tour date, and name.
Receive Confirmation
We will confirm receipt of your cancellation request and inform you whether a refund applies based on the timing of your request.
Refund Processing
If eligible, your refund will be processed within 7-14 business days to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
5 How Refunds Are Processed
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method (debit card, credit card, or Apple Pay).
- The 5% payment processing fee is charged by our payment processor and is non-recoverable. This fee is deducted from the refund amount.
- Bank processing times may vary. If you have not received your refund within 14 business days, please contact your bank first, then reach out to us.
- Refunds cannot be issued to a different payment method or bank account than the one used for the original transaction.
6 Group Bookings
For group bookings:
- Cancellation of the entire group follows the same policy as individual bookings (50% refund if 48+ hours before, no refund within 48 hours).
- Partial cancellations (reducing guest numbers) are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as early as possible.
- If the group size falls below the minimum required for a private charter, the booking terms may need to be adjusted.
7 Private Tour Bookings
Private tour bookings (Private Morning Snorkeling and Private Sunset Snorkeling) follow the same cancellation policy with the following additional terms:
- The boat fee (OMR 220) is subject to the standard cancellation policy.
- Island permits that have already been purchased and submitted to the authorities are non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing.
- If permits have not yet been purchased at the time of cancellation, they will not be charged.
8 Seasonal Tours
The following tours are available November to April only:
- Full Day Island Tour
- Overnight Camping
If you book a seasonal tour and it is later cancelled by us due to seasonal closure or reserve restrictions (not weather), you will receive a full refund. If you attempt to book outside the operating season, we will inform you of availability and suggest alternative tours.
9 Deposits & Payment Terms
- A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- The remaining 50% balance is due before the tour departure.
- Bookings without a deposit are not confirmed and may be released to other guests.
- If the remaining balance is not paid before departure, Daymaniyat Islands Tours reserves the right to cancel the booking. In this case, the deposit is non-refundable.
Payments can be made by debit card, credit card, or Apple Pay through our secure payment link.
